Ringing Bells, the company behind now popular Freedom 251 smartphone, has announced that it will open bookings for its Freedom 9900 LED TV from August 15. The company says the deliveries will start from next day.
Ringing Bells was extremely criticised for foulplay after Freedom 251 announcement. The company was also under the scanner of enforcement directorate for alleged scam. But the company came clean on its promise of delivering an Android smartphone for just Rs 251. Freedom 9900 TV is a budget HD LED TV priced at just Rs 9,900.

In a press statement, Ringing Bells has confirmed that the booking will be open only for one-day and will be done via company’s website. The company has confirmed that the product will be available via cash-on-delivery model.
“We are expecting good response for the television and assure our customers that they will get a quality product in the price that they never thought of in the current market scenario,” the company spokesperson stated in a press statement.
Ringing Bells Freedom 9900 TV features a 31.5-inch display with a HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a contrast ratio of 3000:1. The TV comes with 2 HDMI, 2 USB ports and 2 speakers. Ringing Bells claims this is the cheapest television in the market but we have seen new entrants like Daiwa, Kodak, InFocus offer similar specifications at less that Rs 10,000 price tag.
