Super Mario Run Now Available for Download on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch |

Super Mario Run is now available to download and play on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The hotly anticipated Nintendo game has seen a flurry of hype around it. In order to play Super Mario Run, you’ll need an iOS device with iOS 8.0 or later.

Keep in mind that while Super Mario Run is free to download, it’s not entirely free to play. Specific elements of Super Mario Run’s three game modes — World Tour, Toad Rally, and Kingdom Builder are free, not all of them. Super Mario Run’s price is Rs. 620 or $10. If you aren't able to download it just yet, it's just rolling out the world over, and may take some time.

And no, there is no Super Mario Run Android version just yet. Nintendo has said that the Super Mario Android release date will be set for early 2017.
Also of importance is that the game needs you to be online.

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, has revealed that you will need an Internet connection to play Super Mario Run. Speaking with Mashable, Miyamoto said that the decision had been taken to combat the game’s piracy. “For us, we view our software as being a very important asset for us,” he added. “And also for consumers who are purchasing the game, we want to make sure that we're able to offer it to them in a way that the software is secure, and that they're able to play it in a stable environment.”

When Mashable asked if he was referring to the risk of piracy in “security”, he said: “That’s correct. Unlike our dedicated game devices, the game is not releasing in a limited number of countries. We're launching in 150 countries and each of those countries has different network environments and things like that. So it was important for us to be able to have it secure for all users.”
With the Nintendo Switch reveal seeing another Mario game, we won't be surprised to see if there's a deeper connection between both games when Nintendo's console sees a full reveal in January.

Free-to-air television channel Zee Anmol has announced the launch of two new shows, ‘Kareena Kareena’ and ‘Jabb Love Hua’.
The channel will air ‘Kareena Kareena’ at 2:30 pm and ‘Jabb Love Hua’ at 3:00 pm, every Monday to Saturday, starting 19 December. Both the shows were first aired on Zee TV. ‘Kareena Kareena’ was aired from 1 September 2004 until 17 October 2005 and ‘Jabb Love Hua’ from 24 April 2006 until 12 July 2007.

Arnab Goswami’s news venture to be called ‘Republic'

MUMBAI: Popular news anchor and journalist Arnab Goswami’s venture is taking shape.

Revealing the name of his new TV and digital venture, Goswami has said that his new venture will be called ‘Republic’.

“My venture is called ‘Republic’; I seek the support of the people of India,” Goswami told The News Minute.

He also told the news portal that he will share details of his news venture after a few weeks.

Speculation is rife that Goswami is teaming up with Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Rajeev Chandrashekhar for his new venture. There is also buzz that Rupert Mursoch’s 21st Century Fox could also be a part of this venture.

According to regulation, the foreign direct investment (FDI) in TV news is capped at 49% while the remaining shareholding should be with a single Indian shareholder.

Goswami had quit Times Network as president of news and Times Now editor-in-chief on 1 November.

He has been replaced with Rahul Shivshankar as chief editor. Shivshankar is joining the channel from NewsX.

The smartphone features a 5 inch HD display and is equipped with 1.3 GHz 64bit Quad Core processor. On memory front the device offers 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, expandable up to 64 GB.

Story centers on martial arts tournament between each universe's strongest warriors
The official website of the Dragon Ball Super television anime revealed the story and visual of the anime's upcoming "Universe Survival" arc on Friday.


The visual for the arc shows Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, Android 17, Android 18, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Master Roshi, and Majin Buu as Universe 7's most powerful team.

The site describes the arc's story:

According to an invitation that Goku gets, Zen-Oh is starting a martial arts tournament between all the universes called "Chikara no Taikai" (Tournament of Power). But it is the beginning of universal destruction. Something awaits the winners and losers of this tournament. What will become of this fierce team battle between each universe's elite warriors?
The Jump Festa event on Saturday and Sunday will have new announcements and will debut the first promotional video for the arc.

The FunimationNow, Crunchyroll, Daisuki, and AnimeLab streaming platforms are all simulcasting the series with English subtitles.

Dragon Ball Super premiered in Japan in July 2015 on Fuji TV and other channels. Funimation's English dub of the anime will premiere on Adult Swim's Toonami block on January 7. The English dub cast includes:

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Anime Reveals Promo Video, Key Visual, Returning Cast

New anime premieres in April on Tokyo TV
TV Tokyo opened a website on Saturday to reveal the key visual, cast, and promotional video for the upcoming new Boruto anime series, titled Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. The television anime series will premiere in April.

Crunchyroll is streaming the promotional video on Twitter with English subtitles.


The anime stars the following returning cast members:

Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchiha
Ryūichi Kijima as Mitsuki
Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki


Naruto and Boruto manga creator Masashi Kishimoto said on Saturday during the Jump Festa event about the new anime, "I plan to make it even better than Naruto."

Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto launched the Boruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump on May 9, based on and as a sequel to Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga. Boruto's titular main character is the protagonist of the Boruto -Naruto the Movie- anime film, and the manga has so far been an adaptation of that film.

The Boruto manga's second compiled volume shipped in Japan on December 2, and the manga volumes have more than 1 million copies in print.

This year's Jump Special Anime Festa screening event screened a Boruto-related anime in theaters across Japan on November 27 and December 4.

Wajah Tum Ho Story: A hooded vigilante is broadcasting murders on a news channel. Will the police catch him alive before he live-casts another death?

Wajah Tum Ho Review: Wajah Tum Ho is the latest product on the assembly line of half-baked sex-thrillers. Which is unfortunate, because the idea isn’t half bad.

A tech genius hacks into a TV channel owned by Rahul Oberoi (Rajneish) and starts streaming a murder on it. Rahul - the prime suspect - is interrogated by inspector Kabir (Sharman) and defended by his lawyer, Siya (Sana). Siya’s boyfriend Ranveer (Gurmeet) is hired by the government to prosecute Rahul. The plot thickens (by about an inch) when another suspect is killed off on live TV.

On the surface level, live murders on national TV followed by a manhunt sounds like an intriguing plot. But minutes into the movie, intrigue gives way to intimate scenes, cringe-worthy dialogue and highly predictable twists.

At one point in the second half, you realize that a whole chunk from the first half was unnecessary; hacking is explained in a powerpoint presentation; several references are made to how a woman who sleeps with her boyfriend should not complain about rape and the big reveal at the end is devoid of logic. Another gripe: the shocking English pronunciation of all the actors. A speech coach would have been a good investment.

Rajneish, who changes his name’s spelling in every film, has to realize that the change has to be made elsewhere. Gurmeet flaunts his abs and not much else and Sharman, the only credible actor here, goes a little over-the-top with his enunciation. Sana, a Bigg Boss alumna, is still play-acting for 94 cameras instead of performing sincerely for one.

Three of the four songs are recreations of older hits and pop-up dutifully when there’s a lull in the screenplay. The background score refuses to die down and accompanies you throughout the movie.

There is no justifiable reason to recommend this one.
