Romedy Now to celebrate Children’s Day with special property
Romedy Now, a channel that claims to spread love and laughter, has planned something special for the kids this November. With Children’s Day just around the corner, the channel has lined up a series of engaging properties for its little viewers.
The channel will be airing a special Children’s Day property called ‘Naughty & Nice’ on 14 November, from 9 am to 6 pm. The movie line-up includes ‘Mr Peabody & Sherman’, ‘A Bug’s Life’, ‘Despicable Me 2’ and ‘Enchanted’.

Comedy Central unveils new programming for Nov
English entertainment channel Comedy Central has lined up new shows for the month of November. The channel will offer several new programmes and new segments such as TV premieres, blockbusters and festival specials.
Apart from viewer favourites like ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’, ‘The Great Indoors’, ‘Man with a Plan’, ‘Dr Ken’, ‘The Mindy Project’, ‘Awkward’ and ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, the channel will launch a new show ‘Angie Tribeca’ and the new season of ‘Odd Mom Out’ and ‘Deadbeat’ as part of Indian TV premieres.
The channel has started airing ‘Angie Tibeca Seasons 1 and 2’ at 10 pm, followed by ‘Odd Mom Out 2’ at 10:30 pm, every Monday to Friday. From 16 November, the channel will air the second season of ‘Deadbeat’ at 10:30 pm, every Thursday.
For the blockbuster segment, Comedy Central will air several hit films, every Sunday at 12 noon, with a primetime repeat at 9 pm. The segment will air on 13 November, followed by ‘Spanglish’ on 20 November and ‘Bewitched’ on 27 November.
The festival special segment will cater to Children’s Day and Thanksgiving. On Children’s Day, 14 November, the channel will air a special ‘Betty White’s Off Their Rockers’ from 3 pm onwards, and on 24 November from 2 pm onwards, there will be special Thanksgiving episodes of ‘F.R.I.E.N.D.S’.

09 November 2016: Network18 Group has renamed its Hindi general news channel as News18 India. The channel will today unveil a new brand identity, logo and tagline along with a refreshed on-air look. The new avatar of the channel will be revealed at 6.57 pm tonight with the main objective to create a distinct position for itself in the Hindi General News category. Robin Peterson retires from all forms of international cricket
Robin Peterson, the South African all-rounder, has announced retirement from all formats of the game. The 37-year-old, who doubled up as a handy left-arm spinner and a lower-order hitter, has represented South Africa in 15 Tests, 37 One-Day Internationals (ODI) and 21 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) over the course of his career that began in 2002.
Peterson made his foray into the international stage in the tense semifinal of the Champions Trophy in September 2002 against India before finding himself in the Test side just six months later in Bangladesh. Peterson picked up 38 wickets in the longest format of the game and just one short of a 100 scalps in limited-overs cricket.
"It is with mixed emotions and fond memories that I would like to announce my retirement from professional cricket," Peterson said on Wednesday (November 9). "It's been an incredible journey with so many people that have supported and encouraged me along the way. First and foremost I'd like to thank all my team-mates for all the special memories they've helped create along the way, as well as all the coaches that have played a role in my development and as mentors throughout my career.
"I'd like to thank Eastern Province and Warriors cricket for giving me an opportunity and seeing something in me that I didn't think existed, and Cobras Cricket for the wonderful years I've spent down In Cape Town. I'd also like to thank the VKB Knights for allowing me into their space and for the management at Free State cricket that have handled my decision with impeccable professionalism and a human touch.

Zee Bangla HD to debut on 20 Nov
Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd (ZEEL) is all set to launch Zee Bangla HD on 20 November.
This will be ZEEL’s second high-definition (HD) channel in the regional space. The company had launched Zee Talkies HD on 15 October.
Zee Bangla is a Bengali GEC while Zee Talkies is a Marathi movie channel. Zee Talkies is priced Rs 30 on a la carte basis.
For Zee Talkies HD, the company had secured deals with leading direct-to-home (DTH) platforms like Airtel Digital TV, Dish TV, Videocon d2h and Tata Sky.
The broadcaster recently received clearance from the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) to launch Zee Marathi HD, Zee Talkies HD, Zee Bangla HD and Zee Bangla Cinema HD.

Naruto shippuden sasuke shinden book of sunrise begins december 1
Starting on December 1, 2016, the next chapter of Naruto Shippuden begins! The anime will shift focus to life after manga chapter 699 and cover what’s in the official Naruto book series later this year. It will start off with Naruto: Sasuke’s Story: Sunrise (titled Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise in Japan).
For those unfamiliar, this is a book that was release in Japan back in 2015 (and will be released in the US on March 7, 2017) that covers Sasuke’s journey after the war and his battle with Naruto. As mentioned in the animne/manga, Sasuke sets off on a journey in order to atone for the sins he committed and later to pursue the mystery of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. In the book, Sasuke narrates how he once desired revenge against his brother, Itachi Uchiha, for murdering their clan and then against the Hidden Leaf Village until he was stopped by his best friend, Naruto. In addition to seeking retribution for his sins, Sasuke seeks out to establish a new path so he can decide how he should protect the things most important to him.
It’s unclear how many episodes will cover Sasuke’s story. The book has 224 pages.
Earlier this year, Naruto Shippuden covered two books featuring the story of Itachi, Itachi’s Story – Light and Darkness. The books were a combined 544 pages and the anime covered them in 8 episodes, so if that is any indication, then Sasuke’s story might be 4 episodes. Of course that’s just speculation on our part, we’ll have to wait and see as December draws near.
Naruto Shippuden episode 484 will be titled Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise – The Detonating Man. This episode will air December 1. Naruto Shippuden episode 485, titled Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise – Colosseum, will air on December 8.
Naruto Shippuden 483, titled Jiraiya and Kakashi, will air on November 10. There will be no Naruto Shippuden episodes on November 17 and 24.
